Additional duties and taxes

Who pays customs fees?

When a package is shipped internationally, it may be subject to import taxes, duties and/or fees imposed (e.g. handling charges) by the destination country.

These charges are usually due once the package reaches the destination country.

In general, the buyer is responsible for paying additional costs such as duties, taxes and customs clearance fees. These charges can vary widely and are often based on item price and type, package weight and dimensions, country of origin and destination country taxes, duties and fees.

Phaos  Net cannot predict which of these charges may apply and is not responsible for any additional charges that may apply after a purchase has been completed.
